maybe all the Gods exist and they're all living among us. They just die off when people don't believe in them anymore. Anyone ever read "American Gods" by Neil Gainman. Kinda like that

I remember when I was a little child my mom always told me to help ppl,etc. That if a beggar came to the door asking for a piece of bread, I should give it to him/her. God is all around, and if we help the beggar, we help god or something...I can't quite remember how she worded it, but I will never forget that.
