OT: Recapturing My Youth

LanieDad and LanieMom bought me a Gameboy Advance today(guess it was a 'congrats on finishing your first year' present, I dunno). Anyway, I bought the original Super Mario Brothers game(way back to the days of the original Nintendo) to go with it. I remember playing that for hours when I was little.

Oh, and I still suck at it and usually die before I finish the first level, so really nothing has changed:biggrin::laugh:

I love that game. I have the original Gameboy and the Advanced one. I'm glad that I can play old games on it cus I had a lot. I used to play Mario at my babysitters house when I was a kid on the first Nintendo set. Zelda is my all time fav Nintendo game though.

Those original Nintendo games were some of the best games ever, despite the poor graphics compared to today's standards...


I even got PinkBoy a top-loader Nintendo console for Christmas last year. It works so much better than the front-loader system. His friends were all thrilled to be able to play the old games again!

My brother was all like "You shouldn't buy one those". Guess whose played it more than I have;)
