Has anyone read this book? Was it any good? I'm thinking of picking it up at the library maybe.

it's a very good book in my opinion. not one of my favorites but one i would recomend to other people. its about this 15 year old boy who is about to start his first year of high school right after the death of one of his best friends. the death of the friend does not really shape his life, but introduces the reader to the emotional side and sentitive side of the main character.
its a very short read and written in a letter form, the whole book is. even though it is a work of fiction, sometimes you just want to shake the main character (forgot his name) and tell him to grow some backone, instead of caving to everyones needs.
i guess his main goal in life is to please people, even if its at your own expense. the "wallflower" describes him perfectly. he sees things around him, keeps his mouth shut and accept it as "it jsut is" and moves on to something else.
after reading the whole book, you seem to wonder weather the events that happened in his childhood is what shaped his life.
i probably ruined the book for you, in term of trying to make it more interesting.

Thanks for the input, I think I might be going to the library later so I'm definitely going to pick it up.
