See, when I am depressed, I tend to loose my appetite when I am first really upset... then I hit this point where I eat everything in sight.

I kinda..."had issues" for a while. The longest I went without eating (I did drink water) for about 6 days. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Did really nasty things to my system...ended up in the hospital (of course there were other reasons but uh...yeah.)

Well, the longest I think I have gone is like 5 or 6 days a couple times when I had the flu and had no appetite.

Otherwise, the longest on purpose was 24 hours. I decided not to eat because the night before I had pigged out on all this junk food with my friends at a sleepover, lol.

Probably close to two days when I was sick. And when I wasn't sick, around 24 hours. Mostly cus I refused to eat what was in the house. And was too lazy to go out and something I liked.

My mother is always forgetting to eat- she'll be in the middle of doing something and then suddenly look up and say, "I haven't eaten for like 2 days!" She doesn't even notice.

You will die from lack of sleep before you die from lack of food, though. You can go 2 weeks without food but only 1 week without sleep...but only about 72 hours without water.
