Did I miss something? Shouldn't Ajax be there somewhere? Or does qualifying mean the non-winners. I guess that's it since I don't see the Gunners listed either.

In the English Premiership the top 2(Arsenal and Chelsea)go to the first round automatically, the 3rd and 4th placed teams(Manchester United and Liverpool)have to qualify to get to the first round over a two leg tie. The qualifying rounds are what kev136 listed. :)

Ah..Real flop again!!! What are they doing playing so badly? 3-0 oh my. The coach better wake the players up and himself too.

Man Utd came back to get a draw 2-2.

Liverpool had a nice win 2-0.

I am sure you all know about the incident with Roma. A fan threw at the referee and Roma was given 3-0 against them for that and they must play their next two home matches behind closed doors. Wonder how this will affect the teams (home/away) performances? Imagine playing in a stadium of silence?

Yup, i couldnt imagine the game being replayed. I imagine the away sides should have the upper hand.

Wow, a debut hat-trick for Rooney! Man Utd is sooo lucky to have a player like him! Never been a better debut.

Real Madrid is back at least for a while 4-2 to them against Roma.

Liverpool lost though 1-0.

Rooney was brilliant last night.

The Liverpool game was a bit disappointing but you can't win them all. Rooney was awesome. Defences around the country must be quaking in their boots and Wales defenders can't be looking forward to facing him.

Chelsea continue their good start 3-1 to them. Barcelona also doing very well.

Arsenal not doing as well as they do in the EPL, they only got a 1-1 draw.

Valenica and Celtic lost.

Lots of killer matches!

Real Madrid v Juventus (Juventus more likely to win)
Barcelona v Chelsea (2 top teams at the moment) - I put my bets on Barcelona...sorry Chelsea.
Man Utd v Milan (Seems pretty even)

Hmmm. Some interesting facts. Just a coincidence.

1978: Wales win the Rugby Six Nations Grand Slam
Liverpool lose the league cup final to Chelsea.
Liverpool win the European Cup.

2005: Wales win the Rugby Six Nations Grand Slam.
Liverpool lose the league cup final to Chelsea.
Liverpool win the European Cup (Champions League)?

I hope it's not just a coincidence. Come on Liverpool!!!! Another interesting factr is that last season Chelsea could not beat Arsenal for love nor money and yet beat them when they met in the Champions League quarter finals. This season Liverpool have not beaten Chelsea yet. Could this semi-final be the time they do? We'll soon see. It'll be tough. I can't wait. It will be good to have a British side in the final.

Well I want Liverpool against anyone in the final lol! I wouldn't care. If Chelsea win though, as everyone expects them to, I will hope they win the final. :)

Okay, I heard that IF Liverpool wins the CL and Everton is 4th place, that means the home country, England will have to choose between either the winner of the CL or the 4th place to enter the CL. Damn, this must really sucks for Everton if Liverpool wins. But then again, IF Liverpool wins. Haha! Anyways, if this is the case even for any other league/country, I really don't know, maybe they should hold a match a decide who should enter eh?

Yeah, I found that story here:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/4481805.stm
I'd like Liverpool to win, obviously and I'd like to see them in it next season but if they do not get that fourth spot it will be because they do not deserve it, simple as. I'd be gutted but fair play to Everton they have worked very hard this season and it would highly unfair if they got fourth spot and them not to be able to enter the Champions League. Liverpool have just been far too inconsistent.

The other semi-final ended in a stalemate at 'half-time.' The next leg is at Liverpool and I so hope we can sneak it! Jamie Carragher played really well for Liverpool tonight and I'd say a draw was a fair result. It was tense watching it from my sofa though hehe!

I didn't watch it. Hehe. Liverpool must be doing something special in the CL, considering they have not done well in others.

I don't know what it is. They got to the final of the League Cup (lost to Chelsea) but got knocked out early on by Burnley in the FA Cup and quite inconsistent in the Premiership but quite composed and solid in the Champions League. Obviously, Rafael Benitez knows what he's doing in Europe. Pressure is on, the match is tomorrow night, I can't wait! Come on Liverpool!!!!! :)

Woooooooooohooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! :) Go Liverpool! I thoroughly enjoyed the match but I was quite tense lol. I am so happy Liverpool are in the final. I would have supported Chelsea in the final as well but I like Liverpool. The other semi-final tonight. Oh, yes. Jamie Carragher was amazing again last night, and in his words, "It's about time we got a bit of luck against Chelsea." That was in reference to the goal which may or may not have gone over the line. Not that I'm biased, but I thought it was a goal. :p

Wow! What a night! I had so much fun...well, after half time lol! At 3-0 down I thought that it was on for a 7-0 Arsenal v Everton kinda game but I am so glad I decided to stick with it and watch the second half. Those 2 quick goals left me amazed and when the third went in I was in dreamland! I thought the reds would get a fourth but it went to penalties. Extra time was nerve-wracking because many Liverpool players had cramp and could barely move let alone run! I was so proud of them and I am so happy I will be in a good mood for ages now! :D

I'm not a Champions League expert, I don't know about how many places there are etc. but what I do know is Liverpool should be given a chance to defend their title. After all, it is called the Champions League! However, I am not saying Everton should forfeit their place. They deserve to be there and I think it would be unfair to boot them out. I don't know how it can be got around but I hope they find some fair way. :)

Well, they are going to have their chance: They will be given a first-round spot in next year's Champions League. UEFA has spoken.

Liverpool will start off their defence against Welsh minnows, TNS. It will be played at Wrexham's ground. I think TNS are quite pleased with that as it should bring in some money and they get to play the Champions instead of having to travel to some far out country to play a club who has never been heard of and get beaten. But...Stevie!!! :(

The Champion's League defenders are through to the next round of qualifying. They beat Welsh minnows TNS 3-0 in the second leg at Wrexham's The Racecourse last night. They win 6-0 on aggregate. TNS never expected to win and now have a nice sum of money to put in the bank. :p
