I guess Aerosmith wishes they never recorded that song about him: "No-mar, No-mar." :p

It was surprising, but made perfect sense. He was unhappy and wasn't gonna sign after the end of the season. Might as well get a jump start on somebody else and get a more able body in there.

I find it ironic though, going from one perennial loser to another.

I love Nomar he will always be one of my favorites but it was basically a sure thing that he would not sign with the Red Sox again and was leaving because he wasnt getting the deal he wanted so it made perfect sense using him for a deal. I was hoping that the Red Sox would have been able to get Clement but we didnt do too badly.

That make two fo us.

I was in Red Sox Nation yesterday, watching the game at a hotel. NESN was running commercials about the evils of marrying a Yankee fan. They are pathetic up there.

Hey don't diss NESN what they say its very true. It is one thing having a wife thats a Yankees fan at least you can watch the games in different rooms but when one of your kids is a Yankees fan thats just horrible.

I had a conversation with one of my ex co-workers one night at a pub. We were talking about what our parents would say if we told them that we were gay. I told them that my Mom told me once that she would be sad for me because she knows that I would have a difficult life. My ex co-worker then said, "yeah, it would be the same thing if one of my kids told me they were a Sox fan. Not much you can do about it, but sad all the same."
