JERUSALEM (AP) _ Mecca-Cola, a soft drink named after Islam's holiest place, is now being sold in Israel's Arab stores.

The soft drink's inventor says his goal is to mobilize consumers against Israel -- which he calls "the Zionist entity,'' but Mecca-Cola's Jerusalem distributor hopes to expand into the Jewish market as well.

The Islamic cola is made in France, where it's been sold since 2002.

Mecca-Cola's Web site shows pictures of Palestinian children throwing rocks at Israeli tanks and being arrested by troops. It bears the slogan: "Shake your conscience. Drink with commitment.''

But its Israeli distributor says the soft drink -- which also comes in orange, lemon and apple flavors -- is a quality item that should be popular with Jews as well as Muslims.

Even if it tasted good, I would imagine the Jews would not want to drink it regardless. It puts a bad taste in your mouth before you even drink it.

So, let me see if I've got this straight.

They try to get people riled up against Jews...

through the distribution and production of none other than nasty sounding coke products...

and then sell it to Jews too...

what an insanely genius plan. :susp2:

Think the cans or bottles can be turned into molotov cocktails after drinking? :susp2:

I never heard of Mecca-Cola...So I went to their website to see if it is anti-Jewish.

There is pictures of Palestinian children throwing rocks at tanks and such showing the effects of the Israeli occupation, but it also ignored to mention there is pictures of many other muslim nationalities other than Palestinians. This Cola seems to be raising awareness for the Palestinian cause and also to finance Palestinian charity works.

The organization behind this Mecca-Cola seems to be against the political entity of Zionism and not Judaism.Zionism and Judaism are two different things. Judaism is a religion and Zionism is a political ideology. Thus,it is not anti-Jewish. It even has an Israeli distributor and is even sold to Jewish markets.Well that is what I got from the research I did. But, if it is anti-Jewish,the Mecca-Cola company should not be even allowed to operate for promoting hatred of that sort. Also, they would be disrespecting Islam for displaying racism of that nature. Islam preaches messages of peace, tolerance and respect for all religions.

Because red, white and black is only used by the Nazis.

Oh, and D.C. United. They even have a German-looking eagle on their jerseys.

And Mounds bars. Or is that Almond Joy?

And the Wisconsin Badgers. But Wisconsin is West West Germany, so they fall into Nazism too. By the way, I love Wisconsin and have Jewish family there. :o

Some are so addicted to cigarettes that they could picture people clubbing baby seals on the package and people wouldn't care.

Watch the little mermaid... at the scene where Ariel is marrying eric... Watch the Priest's crotch... he gets a hard-on.

There are others too.... but that's the only one that sticks in my head...

Did I forget to mention United plays in RFK stadium? It's a plot, I tell you!

Because there is a trianglar pattern, it's a K? So then Amtrak was actually trying to emulate Nazi cattle cars, as evident in the company's old logo. Three K's for that matter! Oh, the horror!

You started saying it had something to do with the color. It fits into your arguement. Now it's not that?

They are as much in the shape of a K as the triangles of the old Amtrak logo.
