....but I will be back:D
We all had a great time and wished we could have stayed for Sunday's game...Bernie and a GS!!!
Thanks for meeting me there and for all the good information!
I really enjoyed your company and wish we could watch a game together next time around, that would be great fun!
I loved your Jeter/Posada encounter, and had one, of sorts, with Jeter leaving the stadium;) I will PM you with that!

I look forward to hearing the story.
It was a great time meeting you and the crew. Any time you are down here, let me know, and also tell me when you'll be in CT next time as well.

Yeah, makes sense, but you said you go there more often, so I was asking in that sense.

well, seeings how I am never in NYC, I guess you could say I go to CT more, but this was the first time I had been there in a few years....I want to try to get a single ticket for one more game in the Bronx before the season is over, I am working on it, but it won't be in bird territory again:D

Well, as you say you haven't heard it and a lurker-friend of mine says she hasn't heard it (despite me being close to certain I told you both  ), here it is:
In about 1998 I went to Baltimore on a package deal (like the ones I'm now offering to Europe to see soccer. They include things like hotel, travel, game tickets and some other perks) and stayed at the same hotel the Yankees were staying in.
So I'm walking back to the hotel at one point and recognize ahead of me Jeter and Posada also walking back to the hotel. Naturally, I speed up my pace, and enter the hotel just a few feet behind them. I get to the elevator bank with them and enter the same elevator, despite the fact its going down.
On the way back up, we stop on the second floor. A kid starts to get into the elevator. Jeter says, "going up." The kid looks up and says, "oh, thanks" and looks down again. It takes the kid about two seconds to realize who was talking to him, and he looks back up in as close to cartoon character double-take fashion as physically possible in reality.
That was essentially it. I said something like "good luck tonight" when I got out of the elevator, but it was just a cool moment there.
