ok, the Yankees have a DH on 9/6, how/when do you get tickets for the second game??

Ok, Dave, I just learned the second game is at 4:35pm....is that the 2 for 1 ? Please say it is:D

If it's 4:35, it should be a twi-night two-for-one.

That info is according to CBS Sportsline.com, if that is reliable.....

I think yankees.com said the start time was TBD, which means either they haven't decided how to handle it or that it/s the usual 4:35 stated time, but actually means 45 minutes after when the first game is done.

If it's "only" Tampa Bay, a twin bill wouldn't be overly surprising.

maybe you won't go if it is only the Rays:tongue:

Me? I can go to a game between to bottom-dwelling single-A teams and still be happy.

I think I can make it for part of the day... I have to wait and see if I'm covering the game(s) still, but they seem to like me on weekends.

I am trying to make my plans....I did call Yankee Stadium ticket office and it is 2 for 1 so that is good:) Can you pretty much roam the stadium at will when you are there? Do you have access to all areas? You know where I will be, in the cushy seats;) I will be there for batting practice:D

People in the main seating area can not go to the bleachers or vice versa. Monument Park is still only open to people without tickets for the area before the first game (up until 45 minutes before the first game). I would expect this to be a somewhat smaller crowd than usual, at least before the first game, so this may be a perfect time to see Monument Park.

As a holder of one of those seats, I believe they will let you down pretty much anywhere in the good area for BP. They will definitely let you down to the railing in the section you are actually sitting in, and I would guess they'd let you stand near the dugouts and on-deck areas as well.

I meant you, with your creditials, can you go anywhere? That is great info though, just what I wanted to hear:) Oh, the pictures of you came out great, btw

I wanna see them!

Yeah, my credential gives me pretty wide access: Press boxes, field, clubhouses (those latter two at the appropriate times), the press dining room. Plus I can go out into the stands with no problem, but I'm not supposed to sit out there during games... I've even gone into the bleachers from the main stadium with my credentials.
