Powers back! (Do you know how much it sucks trying to sleep with your windows open, no power, and 99% humidity?)

So, I'm fine, apartment is still here. There's A LOT of wind damage. It was crazy though. It was supposed to be a dead on hit for us (the eye was - which is the part that had the 140mph winds), but at the last moment it changed course and went up the coast and hit Pt Charlotte and Punta Gorda (which I'm sure y'all have seen the footage from that.. those places are leveled)

We still got it pretty bad. None of the traffic lights are working, which is making for a lot of fun, and as expected no one is allowed on Ft Myers beach, Sanibel, or Captiva (which is just BAD. 75% of the buildings were damaged or destroyed, and the storm surge made a whole nother island)

Crazy times. Cape Coral got it pretty bad to, so I hope Spacey is ok

Man, that sucks. My aunt and uncle live in Florida, but they are ok! I was worried because they live on the top floor of an 11 story building (RIGHT by the beach, so isn't that even worse? I dunno)! But they are ok. Glad you are ok too. I hope Spacey is alright as well.

Mr. Pink's uncle lives in Naples. I haven't heard anything about that area, or from him directly, so I guess he's okay too.

I just heard from Orlando & it was't pretty. They got their power back around 8:30am

Should hear from the family in the next few days (if Daytona got hit hard, then it might take a few days for things to get back to normal).
