It's 2 o'clock and it's only 61 degrees here. It's so cold and I have to sit out in this to watch a parade tonight.

It's about 10 degrees warmer here, Lanie, but we're getting the remnants of Charley, so it's pretty rainy. This summer's weather has been really weird.

You know what I love... I love August. August is the best month of the year. Especially around the 28th... It's (cough, cough) my birthday (cough, cough). :)

LOL@TJ :) I am a fan of September, more than August. August always seems like the hottest month :( September is still warm, but has the crisp autumn smell in the morning and the breezes. Of course, I live in a state where I can't imagine it only being 61 at 2 in the afternoon! By 2 pm here it's at least 110!

lol, but on a serious tip, I do like September, October. I love the fall. I love (like you said) the coolness, the color, and the smell of the leaves turning colors. Halloween used to be my favorite holiday while I was in high school. We used to go ALL OUT decorating my house for the Trick or Treaters... I love watching the old Halloween movies and seeing the scenes and can imagine how that time feels...
