^uhm...sorry to ask this but how old are you? There's a VERY big difference in growing up and in acting stupid. Doing drugs, smoking, drinking and getting tattoos when you're in fact too young to do so is NOT growing up it's acting really stupid.
As for "ditching" fans I think he might be too nice to do that after all they're the ones that buys his album.

first of all i'm 19 so i konw what i'm talking about, plus smoking doesn't mean doing drugs, it's not the same thing and if you think that's the same, then you are stupid, because smoking get you addicted yes, but your are still yourself, not with drugs, and i know because some of my friends used to take drugs, even me i try one time, and i can tell you it's not the same, then for drinkink, drinkink doesn't mean being drunk, you can drink a little sometimes, it's not bad, and for the tatoos, it's his body, he can do whatever he wants it's none of our bissness, i think it's sexy now you can think what you want but stop with the drama, what aaron is doing is exactly me and my friends have done growinp up, we learn from our mistakes...

well all I'm saying is that it's even better to learn form others misstakes. And considering the problems he has in his life right now I'm not so sure that he just drinks a little, and by doing drugs I meant exactly that, drugs, not smoking even thou smoking can also be considered a drug since it's also a thing that kills you eventually.
And well I just persoanlyl don't think that it's good for a teenager to do stuff like that. Like I said before there are reasons why there are age limits to certain things.

but you are an american, every american that i met is speaking like you, it's not the same in france, here it's legal to smoke even before 18, at 18 you can drink, but everybody does before 18, but unlike you we can have our drivers license at 18, that's sucks! but anyway, i still think that what aaron is doing is normal, he is learning

Ahh, FINALY!!! Someone sainity on this board! I agree, that he does need to "tone it down" and I think that its b/c he is misguided w/o a mommy guidance. But...he is only a social smoker/drinker. Even though that isn't an excusse for slowly killy himself and breaker the law-he's not a 'bad boy". Just a lost boy who has the absolute nicest personality but makes some wrong choices.
As for the ppl who want him to ditch his younger fans- grow up! Even though you are older in age doesn't mean your better than his younger fan base b/c you certainly aren't any more mature than they are. Its Aaron's career and his choice, I think hes doing a wonderful job balancing all the differnt age groups.

good point =/ I don't really mind that he drinks or smokes because I know that someday chances are I will too. But that's just me, everyone's entitled to their own oppinions and it is his life. Not to mension sitting at the computer and calling him stupid or an idiot or whatever won't do . Just let the kid live his life. He's gone through a lot and chances are he just smokes when he's stressed and just drinks when he's with his friends. it doesn't bother me too much that hes smoking and drinking cause thats his life (which most people have already pointed out...). i don't like what hes doing to himself and his career.. since alot of his fans are younger, he probably shouldn't drink and smoke in public, or hes probably going to loose alot of his fans on account of their parents.
