If i go see Britney in concert I know it's because I'm gonna get a whole visual performance that will be good. I understand this, completely. I've understood this since forever. I've used this debate with friends who have trashed Britney and her concerts, SHE DOES GIVE A GOOD SHOW!! but she's NOT Wayne Newton. She's signed as a singer. How good is a singer who can't sing, or at least doesn't?

You have valid points, but I think the difference really is Hilary Duff, Raven and Lindsay (whom really isn't that bad, imo) are actresses. That's their career. They're signed under actress contracts, and they ACT. They may put out a few albums but they still are what they are supposed to be. Jennifer Love Hewitt much? Okay, well she sucks both ways, so she's not valid. If Britney went the Ginger Rogers rout and was a dancer who released music, as Rogers was a dancer whom released movies, I could say "Oh, okay!!!" def. agree with you about how it seems she's a dancer who wanted to sing but you gotta give her points to be able to be as profitable and famous and she is. She really did work hard to get to where she is. I think she's very smart when it comes to the music business and she knows what sells. So if you see her being sexy, it cause sex sells and i don't know about you or her, but if I was her I would be cashing in on everythinggg.
