My professor seems alright. The class is going to pretty much be a joke, but I guess I figured that would be the case.

I learned more about the Stu incident, but I guess we're going to watch some movie/documentary that talks more about it when we meet in a couple of weeks. We don't have class next week because of Labor Day.

We also learned the Beatles names. Isn't that sad? I know he has to teach it like people don't know them, but don't you think you would look something up about them before you were going to take a class on them?

Oh yeah, and one whole class (later in the semester) is going to be about Bob Dylan and the Beach Boys and how they influenced them. ;)

Bah.

I hate you.

Ever so much.

It really wasn't all that great. You can be jealous when it actually gets good. ;)

I want to be jealous now though, just so I'm ahead of the game :p

I want my Rock and Roll teacher back. He can teach me about the Beatles any day. Or anything else for that matter...somehow that related in my mind. But it doesn't really. But I'm going to say it anyway.

*sigh*

What's a Winston?! ;)

Are you going to watch Backbeat for the Stu story?

I still can't believe that you can get credit for this stuff. If they only had a Hendrix 101 class when I went to college.

Sadly, the credits for my Rock and Roll class didn't transfer...or count for much of anything.

When he started teaching the class, he wrote Yoko a letter, saying he had a few questions to ask her. Her assistant called him and said that he could ask her one question, and she'd respond. He emailed his question, which was, "What would John want me to teach my students about the Beatles?" Her answer was her typical whimsical, peace-loving answer she gives to every question, but I think it's really cool that she even took the time out to answer anything at all.
