CYBERSPACE (AP) _ The B-52's are getting their Beatles fix for a new commercial. Their Web site reports The B-52's remade The Beatles' "Paperback Writer'' for a Buick commercial. The ad begins running in a few weeks. The track will be available for download on iTunes soon. The band is also recording a new studio album.

Speaking of the B-52's, a co-worker of mine just pointed out one of them now owns a motel in the Catskills (Mountains, NY getaway). The place is designed by the people who own and live in the place the "Love Shack" video was shot, and the pictures make the place look like the Love Shack.

Not a B-52's fan?

I won't say I'm a crazy fan, but I like 'em. I saw them in concert once. I think "Roam" is a decent song, and "Rock Lobster" is a childhood favorite.
