This story is slightly after the fact, but I just kind of realized how incredibly gipped I was.

So my brother buys Fable right. And he buys an X-box so we can play and all seems well with the world.

Well, I called him for some reason and when I ask how incredible Fable is, he informs me that they have yet to play it because he's not sure he wants it any more. And why? Because of one stupid bad review!! ONE REVIEW!!! So here they are, sitting at home with Fable within their grasp and an x box just itching to be opened and they won't open them because then if they decide they don't want it, they can't bring them back.

And they think they want a PS2 more.

I was so mad. So I come home for the weekend and was like, "listen up. I want to play this game dammit" So I got Daniel to buy a used xbox from Gamestop, and then just return it after a week so we could use it. No one rents game consoles any more, so I made up my own rental system.

So we get the x box, open Fable and I begged, pleaded with them to let me play first because otherwise I might not have a chance. They told me to shut up and threw things at me.

So I sat there and watched Jonathan play. Then I watched Daniel play. Then I had to leave and come back to school.

That's right folks. Fable was there, being played because of my genius plan, and I didn't even get a chance to play it. They've already returned the x-boxs. Yeah. So we still have Fable, but nothing to play it with.

MY 60 year old aunt got to play and I DIDN'T!!!!

I hate my brothers.

Ok let me just try to fully understand the stupidity of your brothers. I know at least one of them has a job, why are they being so damn stingy with their money? And are they really swayed so easily that one little bad review would make them hesitate to open the game?!? They buy games all the time, sooner or later they're going to want to have an xbox console as well as a ps2. If they want to be so careful about it they should just wait entirely, save their money like good little boys, and get a ps3 or xbox 2 next year around dec.

I can't believe them, and I can't believe you still have yet to play fable. If they didn't like the game there's something wrong with them. Seriously, it's one of the best games I've played in a while. The only negative thing someone might say about the game is how short it is. It's not as long as most rpg's are expected to be, but it's still pretty long. I know I haven't finished it yet.

Anyway your brothers are selfish morons and they deserve to be stoned. If you can't come to my house you're always welcome to go to my mom's house in ca, cause I'll be buying my brothers an Xbox as an early christmas present when I go there.
Oh yeah they're gonna love me. :D

Now they're arguing over who gets to buy the PS2. Morons. I told them one of them ought to just get the PS2 and the other can get the X-Box but nooooo. Grrrr...




And True - you are so correct. I literally cannot wait for that game. Too bad I don't think I can afford it at the moment. I think I need to pick up a couple extra hours at work simply so I can go buy it the day it comes out...which is very very soon. :love:

It was too simple, which is probably why you like it so much. I am so above this wannabe rpg.

You loser. I like it because it's a great game. It's so much fun and it's hilarious. Just because it's not incredibly complex doesn't mean it's not great, so there.


And downloaded the rom? Is that even the whole game? It probably wasn't even the right game. Psh.

I have to agree with Lizzy. I am not sure I understand the hype around Paper Mario. I bought it when it first came out because I was way excited about another Mario RPG. I played it for about an hour, turned it off and have never looked back. Just not at all worth it. And I paid $75 for that freakin game! :mad:

Paper Mario was better than Mario RPG and that's saying a lot since RPG was so incredibly kickass.
