At number 13!

I was hoping for better, but in the grand scheme of things, this is awesome!

Beaten out by the new Rascal Flatts, Hillary Duff and the Best of Marilyn Manson :manson: to name a few.

Congrats Brian! See you tomorrow!

What the hell is wrong with people when Hilary *gag* Duff beats out Brian Wilson?

And Marilyn Manson too? Why!?!?!

But still, 13 isn't bad. And tomorrow!?! Did you go to the concert today?

No, the concert's tonight.

I am nit surprised Duff beat out Brian. The silly masses buy what they think is "cool." There are too many stupid people out there.

Look at the time. I posted it today ;)

My little sister will probably be one of those stupid people. *sigh*

And I posted that yesterday, which when I said tomorrow, means today now.

You get that Dark Helmet?

I know, that's why when I posted I said today. Cuz...it would have been today.

Dark Helmet?

Spaceballs? The whole Spaceballs: The Video scene.

*sigh* I still haven't seen it :(

db44
Oct 12th, 2004, 05:45 AM
... And you keep telling me about movies I need to see. :shakes head:

I know, I know. Maybe see some of the ones I recommend and I'll be more motivated to see yours.

I did see Monty Python. You owe me a movie.

db44
Oct 12th, 2004, 06:01 AM
But Montyness isn't complete if you don't see Life of Brian as well. ;)

bekahbeans
Oct 12th, 2004, 10:47 AM
psh, whatever. I still watched one of them PLUS I watched Aqua Teens. And I am going to see Life of Brian, I just need to go to Blockbuster...

I think it's your turn to watch something I recommended. Or do you distrust my taste too much?

Good luck with getting him to do anything, Bekah? ;) :p

I would recommend Spaceballs though, always been one of my favorites.

bekahbeans

He is difficult. I tell him such and such a movie is good and all he does is look at me like, "suuure Bekah." Meanwhile I go out of my way to watch things he likes. :p

Well Katie, when I do watch Spaceballs it will be because of your recommendation.

Let's look at Katie's track record of Dave's suggestions:

Brian Wilson/Beach Boys

Yankees

falls in NYC

My word is good.

That's not the point!

Okay. So there's Jersey Girl, what else? I'll try and see Zoolander uniterupted this week, will that do?

bekahbeans
Oct 13th, 2004, 06:34 AM
What?! I never said to see Jersey Girl. Don't see Jersey Girl and try to blame it on me.

Zoolander would be perfect.

db44
Oct 13th, 2004, 06:35 AM
Then that must've been Jenn.

bekahbeans
Oct 13th, 2004, 06:37 AM
Ugh, I hope not.

If you're going to see a more recent movie, def skip Jersey Girl. It didn't suck but...well it wasn't that good either. See, In America.

Damnit, he got me.

In America, a movie I've really wanted to see. Napoleon Dynamite, my suggestion for both of you.

You need to see it, Katie. It's really good. So good in fact, that I bought it the other day.

And I want to see Napoleon Dynamite so much! Is it as funny as people say? Kathryn saw it recently so she keeps quoting it to me.

Dave's committed to seeing Spirited Away. Oh man, now I want to go watch it too for the umpteenth time. I suggest you see it too, Katie, if you haven't yet.

Nope, haven't seen either of those movies, but I really want to. It seems as if everytime I go to get a movie to rent we end up with a comedy/romantic movie. I think I need to go rent one on my own.

Yes, it is seriously hilarious. I saw it for the second time last night, and it's just so great. It's even better if you're from the west and you know how small towns with Mormons work. haha

Who's we? And yeah, get over the romcoms. They're good fun and all but there are so many better movies out there.

I was talking to my friend last night and I honestly couldn't name a really good movie that I had seen lately that wasn't a romantic comedy. Very, very sad.

Keeping up on the album, SMiLE has now been on the chart three weeks. It went from 13 to 27 and is now at 34.

It's not as good as I'd have hoped, but it isn't bad.
