And straight in at No.1 - the new album from Britney Federline! Eh? Doesn't have that ring of glamour to it does it? But news reaches us that newly crowned trailer trash pop queen Britney Spears is thinking of changing her name following her marriage to dancer Kevin Federline last month.

"Yes, I probably will," Brit told Germany's Bunte magazine. "Britney Federline. I like that." Really? You do Brit?! "Society probably won't allow me but I would like to change it," continued the KFC Queen. Never mind society Brit, how about your record label?!

Brit also told the mag that she wants to start having children soon. "I'd love to have a baby already," said Brit. "But I've got to take care of some things first. I want to become a mother. I'm crazy about children. Next year, when I'm 23 I'll be ready."

Sounds like the newly weds will be looking for an even bigger trailer soon...

If this is true, I can't see her changing her last name for business purposes, it doesn't have the 'ring' and it's not what people are used to hearing. She'd be better off going with just "Britney" for the entertainment biz and Mrs. Federline for personal purposes, IMO.

It's not career suicide. Maybe she will change her name but 4 the entertainmnent (spelling?) she could just leave it at Britney. That would work! Anyway, if she wants to have kids, maybe she'll take that break that she needs to take. I mean she has been in the business 4 years, ever since she was little. So, take a break. Do things that she wants to do. Have a family, etc. Then, when she is rested, she can come back strong and with even more things to sing about, etc.

jennifer aniston is really jennifer pitt
jennifer lopez had said she would become jennifer affelck adn leave the lopez for show biz purposes.

Who changes their name? Espically in Hollywood.. They get married and divorced as often as they buy new houses..

Imagine if Liz Taylor changed her name every time she got married.. She'd have the longest name in history..

She wont change her name...her record label will not let her do that.

She has so many merchandising projects and contracts under the name Britney Spears. The name Britney Spears is like a logo on its own. To change it to Britney Federline would be so stupid.

And even if she did, she'd still be called Britney Spears career-wise.
