NEWLYWED Britney Spears is ditching her maiden name to become Mrs Federline.
The singer wants to follow tradition after pole-dancing in a tacky white tracksuit on her wedding night.
Britney, 22, has already sported the name Mrs Federline on trousers and tops, since marrying dancer Kevin, 26.
And she said: “I probably will adopt it. Britney Federline — I like that.
“Society probably won’t allow me but I would like to change it.”
The star, who surprised her guests by getting wed at her “engagement” party in California last month, also pledged to quit singing and have a baby next year.
Britney — who had a hit with Hit Me Baby One More Time — said: “There are a few things I want to take care of this year before I have my baby. I’d love to have a baby already.
“But I’ve got to take care of some things first.
“I want to become a mother. I’m crazy about children. I will next year. When I’m 23 I’ll be ready.”
