Aaron Carter
Nick's little brother dishes on the Duff-Lohan feud, Nick's Paris problems and spending the night with Michael Jackson
Pop Star Aaron Carter, 16, isn't letting the vicious feud between his ex-girlfriends Lindsay Lohan, 18, and Hilary Duff, 17, distract him from his career. He just finished recording his upcoming single "Saturday Night," appeared in a handful of episodes of 7th heaven and will star in the film Fat Albert, hitting theathers Dec. 25th. Still, he admits to Star, "Acting is tough. It's not all peaches and cream." Aaron stopped by Star's New York office to chat about the trials and tribulations of his first 16 years.
Q:The Lohan and Duff feud started when Lindsay charged Hilary with man-stealing. Who's in the wrong?
A:Lindsay is a troublemaker! She always has been , and that's coming from knowing her for five years. When I broke up with her in 2002, I said "Goodbye! I don't want anymore of you!" She was really, really possesive. I haven't spoken to her in two years. My brother Nick told me to stay away from her. He saw her at a club in L.A., and she was really rude to him for no reason. Nick said to her, "I know why you're being mean. It's because of my brother!"
q:Do you still have the hots for Hilary?
A:I'm still madly in love with her. I'm not with her, but that's just how it is. I messed up. I cheated on her with her best friend, which was very stupid of me and I regret it to this day. But I still speak with Hilary every once in a while.
Q:Was your brother Nick responsible for his ex-girlfriends Paris Hilton's bruises?
A:Nothing happened. I was like, "You guys are crazy!" They're both definetly characters. What they did have together was great, but they went their seperate ways. They're still friends though. When he was dating Paris, he would always call me up and be like, "Should I get Paris flowers? How do you make these celebrity girls happy?"
Q:Were you uncomfortable spending the night at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch last year?
A:Oh yeah, I was. I actually asked him, "Did you do that stuff?" You can tell me, because I don't care." And he was like "No." He's a normal person - just a little different.
