RUMOR: JAMIE LYNN RECORDING AN ALBUM?

Jive Records and EMI are together in a new project. And guess what? An album by Britney's little sister, Jamie Lynn. Max Martin (producer of various Britney songs like Overprotected) is with Jamie in the studio for the first album recording. The twelve songs from the album are going to be produced by Max Martin, Rami and Daniel Scott. The official tracklist is:

The first single, Rockin' Boy, releases in January, with the direction of Diane Martel.

i really dont think this is true because for a debut album, that would cost a hell of a lot of money. too many big names for a new artist - diane martell, max martin, rami..... its just not realisitic. it sounds a lot like someone just made it up

yeah but still.. aaron is nick's little brother and yeah nicks not quite on the same level as britney but gary corrolla isnt exactly equal to max martin.

i could believe she would do a couple of songs with one of the big name producers but not ALL of them, they cost like $300,000 per song. i very much doubt jive would spend that much on a DEBUT artist... and to have a director like diane martel, thats just over the top. it just sounds too fishy to me

then again u need to think about the times of when aaron's debut cd came out. Aaron Carter came out in like what 1997-1998? nick was just starting out and got big in the US then. britney on the other hand is already huge by the time jamie started the cd. i think its possible.

It isn't logical that they already know the tracklisting of the album if she's just started to record it.

IF Jamie Lynn is recording an album, and there's a big IF, then I won't be surprised if Aaron's on it. He's tourned with Britney and he isn't that much older than JL and he's got a good grip on Nickelodeon and Disney. It's a made in Disneyworld.

And that I hope for post this. LOL I not interested to buy jamie Lynn CD (except it's very very good). I not buy other cd long time (buy just Aaron and BSB and Nick)
Just want to hear Aaron's song. If the rumour is true, may be someone post that.

she could afford it but thats not how recording an album works.. the record label pay for everything, and then they recoup their initial outgoings through record sales, ticket sales etc. to give a 13 year old girl $2-3m+ to make her debut album is too much of a risk... jamie lynn doesnt have a sure fire fan base and britney's star is fading.

plus jamie just started back at school a month ago
