And a Happy Thanksgiving to you too Pat.

It'd be nicer if we could be thankful for a Yankee pennant. ;)

let's hope we can be thankful Pedro isn't a Yankee in 2005

I'll be thankful if I'm working for MLB or a team by next season... I still like my job here, don't get me wrong with all these hopes, but working for baseball would be great and jury duty spoiled me to the benefits of living a normal life/schedule.

And your point? ;)

There's a list.

Actually, I had a chat with my mom this morning, and while I'm still going to persue the Nationals, I decided I'm going to try for something a little closer to home with a team whose ownership isn't going to change.

Not like I'm getting my hopes up or anything. We'll see what happens.

My only question is to you: why haven't you been pursuing a job with a team before this?

Jury duty spoiled me more than I thought it could. The hours really felt that much better and except for on vacation when I'm often running around in a different sense of the word, I haven't had about two weeks of the "good life" since before I came to the station.

But the fact that I saw openings listed which I was qualified for also helped matters. MLB teams don't often list jobs so openly and often not things I think I could or would want to do. Plus the fact of shaping something new is cool to me, being with the club from the start.

Why thank you.

Even if it's with the Sox? :blueeek:

I'd make sure you'd go to a doctor if that ever happened.

Honestly, I don't know. I do like Boston as a city, and working at Fenway would be cool. It's not like I'd have to be a fan.

hey, if that is where you go, more power to you...I know you will still be a Yankee fan ;) but I will only be there to see you if the sox are playing the Yankees

It's baseball. Working for the NBA is being in line with devilworshipping.

I don't buy that. It's still like working for the devil.
