Justgot backfrom the first day. Two things:
1. Fish is an *ss.
2. 2-0. I loved every second of each game. They were amazing. Now you'll win tomorrow's game, and then it'll be ours. :P
Love y'all...

I saw the closing bits of the Rod Nadal match. I have a load of essays to do and have been in the library for a lot of the hours of the day. I saw the doubles today and the ryan twins were great, they're everywhere, it's like there's six of them on court! If Rod can beat Moya tomorrow then it will make for a great final rubber. I thought before Friday that Spain would win because it's on clay but I'd really like Rod to win his match. Not only because I like him but it will make the last tie really interesting!

Yeah, yesterday's game was incredible, there were like four Bryans out there... I guess we already knew it was impossible to win this one, and that's why Ferrero played instead of Nadal, so that he could rest to be ready to play IF Moya loses with Rod. WHICH I honestly think wont happen, because both he's really motivated and playing great, and Rod is not at his best right now. Plus, the crowd is going to go crazy, and it already affected Rod last friday...
However, even it A-Rod won, Nadal would sweep Fish out of the court in less than two hours in the last game. :)
I wish I could be there, but some 14 years old kid I don't even know is sitting at my seat right now, thanks to my mother's endless generosity ("You already were there last friday, isn't that enough??" Ugh...)

Awww.
Andy really tried hard until the end but Moya was really great. I think that perhaps America will win the Davis Cup in the next couple of years if they don't have to play on clay unless they get Vince Spadea in.

aww, no posts in the tennis forum in the last few days
well the Davis Cup final was exciting, but i kind of figured the outcome would be what it was.. wasn't expecting Andy to lose to Nadal though
against any other team i would have been cheering for Spain anyway, cause i basically like all the guys on the team.. but hopefully the US will get to play another final, and this time at home.. but congrats for making it this far this year :)

:) Yeah, all the spanish players are pretty good, specially Moyá and Nadal. I've always liked Ferrero, but obviously he is not in a good moment... I hope he'll go back to playing as he usedto, he is only 24, so he can be back at the top of the game anytime. Moyá, on the other hand, is probably facing his last couple of years, so he's really motivated. And Nadal will reach number one for sure, if he keeps improving his game like that. Robredo is a tough, stable player, but I don't think he has what it takes to reach a top five. Another names in Spain to keep in mind are Fernando Verdasco and Feliciano Lopez, both great players, and both also quite young. So definitely, Spain has a bright future rearding tennis. :)
Plus, I love the fact that Nadal is a right handed playing with his left, and Moyá is left handed but plays with his right... :)

Hehe, yeah, they for sure look alike. And I know that Moyá is like Nadal's godfather, he is really proud of him, and was almost crying during the last few points at the Nadal-Rod game. Thats one of the things I like the most about the spanish team, they're really close, arealways goofing around... They look like brothers, almost.
I like the sound of it, Mini-Moyá...
