If he does, it will be 40 years to the day of his big nervous breakdown.

Two, in totally contradicting catagories: Best vocal album and best rock instrumental.
HELLO! If it's up for vocals and instrumental, what is it missing to be up for best album?! It' damn finely produced too.
He was bamboozled! :redmad:

What did you expect? Awards shows are lame.

Nah, they just realize this album is overrated, even though it's good.

I cannot believe anything Green Day does is better than Brian.

Maybe that's cuz you haven't heard their new album. See? You're being close minded right at the beginning. :p

Now that you've seen the list (from an IM conversation), do you believe those bands and albums all are better than SMiLE?

Ray Charles could be, but I haven't heard it.
You know my position on American Idiot. I hope it wins.
Alicia Keys - haven't heard that album either, and while I love her music, I don't think she would rival SMiLE
Usher makes me puke
And I don't even know who Kayne West is.
So with the exception of possible Ray Charles and Green Day, no I don't believe those bands and albums are better than SMiLE

I tend to think Alicia Keys is the Stevie Wonder of our generation, for whatever that's worth.
