Sounds like pretty much a done-deal, with Pedro going to the Mets.
Should be interesting...

I'm hearing rumblings of a Cliff Floyd for Manny Ramirez deal... The Mets are being foolish.

I just read the diamondbacks are restarting talks to trade Randy Johnson to the Yankees..... ;)

They should. They were asking way too much. Hopefully at this point they see there's a deal to be made if they can negotiate seriously.

I think they made a mistake for the first 2 years it will be great for them then he will turn into another Mo Vaughn.

The first two or the last two?
Personally, I still think Mo Vaughn would have been great on the Yankees. The atmosphere would have been better and you can bet that Mo would have come into camp in shape for the Yankees.
I've been saying that through his injuries, not jus now to jump on the anti-Giambi bandwagon.

Well I think Pedro has 2 good years left in him after that i dont think things will go well for him at all. And as you know Mo Vaughn has been a failure for the mets so I believe this will be the same for the mets. 4 years is just too much, 3 years i could understand but 4 is a lot. And i love how Pedro is pretending that it isnt about the money. Mo would have probably been a good fit for the yanks but im not sure if he would have necessarily given it more effort.

I hope Shawn Greene can be convinced to waive his no-trade clause...

I hear Greene may go to Arizona and Vazquez to the Dodgers.....

That would be the deal. Although now Vasquez is also complaining. It would be a three-way deal... If the Dodgers don't work out, St. Louis may fit the bill.

I hope we can do something with our lineup we wont have Curt for like a month after the season starts, Pedro is gone Wells is a good replacement for Lowe but we are one pitcher short and hopefully we can get someone to replace Pedro.
