Can't believe the Americans lose to lowly Belarus last night. They must beat the Czechs' tonight to earn a bye to the Semifinal Round. To bad it's not televised here.

Wow, I'm surprised to see a topic on this.
The US lost to Czech last night, too. What the hell happened to Montoya? Yikes!.
I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, which is only a 2 hr drive from Grand Forks, North D. I'm going to the Bronze Medal and Gold Medal games to cheer on Team Canada! :D They are unstoppable this year. The only thing that I'm worried about is their injury status, but we should be okay. I know some of the guys, and got to meet the rest of the team while their training camp was here in Winnipeg earlier in the month.

Oh yeah, aren't they airing some of the games on ESPN2 in the states?

That Sid Crosby can play. I think he's going to be the next one.

Definitely. Even Gretzky said himself that he believes Sidney is the only player he knows of that can break his records in the NHL.
Sid is also a very nice guy. I got the chance to meet him while he was here for the Selection camp, and he was nothing but a complete gentleman. He's got a great head on his shoulders for being so famous and acclaimed at such a young age. He was offered $7.5 million dollars when he was 16 (last year) to play in another league, and he turned it down because he still wanted to play for his Junior team in Canada.
