But normally she will not tell of it, or want to do it with anyone else but her beloved popstar.
I'd like to add, that a fan who goes on the road to follow her idol from concert to concert, is by NO means phsycho, a groupie, or even a roadie. It all depends on her intentions. A fan who arranges a road trip with her girl friends to different cities to see her fave popstar simply knows how to have a good time and support her idol at the same time. As long as she doesn't harrass him with phone calls or visits, follow him to places where she shouldn't be and expect special treatment just because of her 'sacrifices' then I think it's all cool.

i always considered a "groupie" to be someone who HAS slept with singers and a "roadie" someone who went all over to see different people or one specific singer/band. and i go to alot of concerts and stuff but i don't consider any of the people i go to see my "idol" just people i have fun seeing and whatever but yeah some people would i guess consider them their "idols." and i agree that just because someone goes to alot of concerts, they arent a roadie groupie or psycho.... psychos are the people who follow them around, call around to find where they are staying, bother them on their free time - like while their at a restaurant etc etc, obsess over them - posters all over the walls and talk about them ALL the time, and pretty much just follow them around wherever they go even if it bothers the singer/band just to talk to them or get a stupid autograph or picture. i guess everyone on here has different definitions of these words so everyone could take what people say in a different way but i also think some people on these boards jump to conclusions and assume things they probably shouldn't. noone knows what anyone has done on here with anyone and calling people "groupies" and whatever else means different things to different people...

Nope, no .. I think you need to get your job definitions straight here -- a ROADIE is someone who WORKS for the band/venue. They get PAID to tour with the band. They don't care about sleeping with them, being their friend, getting close to them etc.
