What's wrong with me? -not OT-

I have a problem. Ok, dont laugh...but I think I'm in love with Aaron Carter. I know everyone is always like, "I love Aaron Carter!" so you'd think the term "love" is a casual word when you're referring to celebrities, right? Well I mean I think I really am in love with him, and not cause he's famous. I really couldn't give a darn about all that money and fame he's got right now. If he wasn't famous, and if he had no money at all whatsoever, I would feel the same way. And I hate it when people say they like someone just cause of their looks. That's so immature! I mean, yeah the guy's a hottie, I won't deny that, but there's more to a guy than their looks. He has such a down-to-earth personality, he's sweet and I really think we would get along great, cause we have a lot in common. Even the basic stuff--liking the same foods, lol I know it sounds silly, but I can't hide my feelings for him. I really want to go out with him, I've met the guy three times (like that matters...), but seriously I really think I'm in love with him. I know I keep repeating myself, but its true! There are a few problems though: 1. He's a little older than me...try me being 14 (turning 15 in March) and him being 17! Can you see the age gap? 2. He has a girlfriend, and 3. The idea of dating a celebrity is rather more considered a 'dream' or a 'fantasy' and I don't even have a chance with him simply because, well, he's famous. Oh and did I mention, that I also have a boyfriend? Make that number 4. Alrighty well please comment on this, I really think I am starting to lose my mind and become insane! But I really do love him. He once said, "love is different than any kind of feeling you've ever had." You never really get over your first love, and, well, he was mine. And he'll always have a special place in my heart. I just love him so much. :(

I don't know if I love aaron like that. I think he is very hot, but i don't know him know him so I can't love him. And yeah if i had the chance to date him, I wouldn't turn it down for anything. But he was the first guy I had my first crush on, so I think i will always like him. :)
but u have to know that there are a lot of great guys out there who are like aaron or even better. Just keep telling ur self that becuase u have less then 0.025 chance with him. everybody does. :(

Exactly. How many girls can say they love Aaron "like that"? My guess is not many. You're right, though, we all have a VERY slim to none chance of ever being with him. So yeah, it sucks.

I think that to really BE in love with someone you have to know them, not just have met them. Maybe you have a lot of things in common with Aaron, but you don't know ALL about him like you think you do. Reality can be quite different. All the things you described are really normal, but do try to find those good points about your own boyfriend too...chances are, he's a very nice guy, AND you have a better chance of it lasting LOL (Aaron is known to have extremely short term relationships!)
Seriously, enjoy being in love with Aaron...but don't let it make you unhappy, cause then, what use would it be?

My boyfriend doesnt exactly live right around the corner from me. In fact, we've never even met! I only know him through my friend Ariana. Her cousin is friends with him, and they met once and exchanged screennames. She just happened to tell him about me cause we were both 'single and looking' and so he IMed her when she was over my house. Good thing she went online! We started talking and stuff, and we both liked eachother so of course when he asked me out I said yes. We've been going out for almost a month, but we've never met and don't know what the other person looks like. To be honest with ya, I'm thinking of maybe breaking it off with him. It's really not worth it...I dont know what I'm gonna do. And if I do break it off, its not cause I'm in love with Aaron, its just cause we dont really have any chemistry. So yeah =/.

I doubt you're in love with Aaron... you don't even know him. Yeah you've met him, but he could be so different in reality. I'm not saying he is, he probably is a really cool guy, he seemed cool when I met him a couple times. The point is, you need to know him on more of a personal level... I dunno. I broke up with my boyfriend just now. I just couldn't take it anymore. It was too hard. I'm definitely not ready for that kinda relationship right now and I don't wanna rush into anything too soon. LOL As time goes by, you'll get older and you'll realize that your feelings for aaron don't run that deep, that you feel a connection with him somehow, that you are agreat fan but that you aren't in love with him. Maybe a crush, a big one for that matter? Yes, probably but not real love IMO. Trust me, no one stays forever like that. Time, experiences and perspective will teach you how to clear up your feelings.

I know I dont love him as a 'crush'. I remember when I liked his brother. Totally different scenario. I was very young, and didn't know what love was. Nick was more of a crush, Aaron is the real thing. You know when you have that 'gut feeling' inside? Well I have a feeling that I really do love Aaron, and not just the way you think I do, ladyluna. " and when you said that you were young then and didnt know what love was... your still young and you still DONT know what love is because you can't honestly love someone based on what you've said. that just doesnt work... its infatuation and your not the first to say something like this on here, lol... but yeah you're definitely not in love... i don't know if alot of people feel like you or what i definitely think its a little weird but um, thats just my opinion...

Honestly I don't think you can say you are in love till you know the real Aaron. You may have met him a few times but he may act different when fans are around and be a totally different person when he is with his friends. He says things in interviews and we all know the 'public Aaron' but we don't know the private one! Seriously I think every young teen thinks they are 'in love' with their celeb crush at one point or another. When I was 13 I thought I was in love with Brian Littrell but you get older, realize they are completely different than what you thought and see that you were just infatuated with his voice, looks, persona etc. Plus right now Aaron is a player! Thats MY honest opinion. And the fact that you had a boyfriend online w/o meeting him first is kinda odd too (similar to the Aaron situation). No offense!! I just think you want someone to talk to or feel close to that has something in common with you but my advice is...meet them, get to know the real person and THEN decide if you love them.
