is anyone else sick of jesse mcartney? ya he's cute and stuff, but it really bugs me that he releases one stupid a$$ song and he's like on all the shows and sh*t, and Aaron is just now starting to break through with his career. I don't know, it just seems like so many AC fans are trading him for jesse and i think thats so unfair. i just worry that people aren't gonna keep the ac pride alive, ya know? i mean, i think jesse is a horrible musician, but i like him in his show, but AC is always #1. what do you guys think?

i personally think jesse is really talented. he definitely has a good voice and i like his cd... i think he's worked hard to earn what he's getting. thats not to say that other people like aaron haven't worked just as hard. but even though aaron wasnt on tv and top radio he still used to fill stadiums and things like that so he still had a large fanbase at one point. there are alot of people who are working hard and aren't getting much further in their careers... i think chris trousdale is way talented, i fing love that kid he's such a good guy, and i think greg raposo works so hard... he's always touring and doing shows and writes his own songs, plays the guitar, and still they havent gotten anywhere really either. jesse just got lucky and i think he deserves it. aaron lost alot of fans but he's trying alot harder now and i think if he keeps working like he is, it'll eventually pay off...

ok...i think Jessie is really hott, he sings really good, and he is really talented. But personally I don't like him. I don't think he has a great friendly personality towards his fans like Aaron seems to have. I've never met Aaron so I don't know. But I know all the times I met Jessie have been bad experiences(sp?), and everyone else I kno who has met him also say it has been a bad experience(sp?)......

but hey thats just my opinion. Everyone is intitled to their own.

EXACTLY!!!!! Thats exactly the point im trying to get across. to me, it totally doesn't matter who's "better" thats why i get pissed when people come right out and say "i love aaron, but jesse's better" WTF?? The IDEAL thing would be to have them BOTH really successful, then we can all drool over them BOTH at the same time. plus, i think Aaron's major success is right around the corner...

Jesse's been around for a long time - he acted on "All My Children", he was in Dreamstreet and also sang on the "Sugar Beats" CD's (those CD's of pop music for little kids). I don't think Jesse's copying Aaron at all - or else you could say Aaron was copying Nick in the same breath.

Aaron's got his work cut out for him making the bridge between Radio Disney and the mainstream radio world. Jesse's popular in both places and I think his CD is really very good.

Oh, and I don't think it helps Aaron that his personal life is constantly in the gossip magazines - for a while, all you heard was about Aaron's having family problems, Aaron's hanging out with Michael Jackson, Aaron's dating a model - lots of baggage to overcome.

i dont dislike jesse but hearing beautiful soul on the radio like 6 million times a day does get pretty annoying but that isnt his fault, it's the radio stations for playing it. the only thing that annoys me about the whole jesse/aaron ordeal is that aaron has been doing music since he was what 8? and he's 17 now...why hasnt he gone mainstream yet?? i know some people think his music is too childish but i've heard worse out there believe me! i just hope the guy gets his long awaited big break soon because he deserves it! :)

I don't think many people realize that part of the reason Dreamstreet broke up was because they were suing their management - apparently the guys were drinking alcohol in their rooms and ordering porn and doing other "inappropriate" stuff , which is not too cool for underage kids to be doing - and management knew and allowed it, against the wishes of their parents.

Jesse did other things before Dreamstreet - he left a major role on a soap opera to join the group - so it's not like he just popped out of nowhere.

As for Jess and the fans - I've met Aaron many times - some times he was really nice and other times, he was a little smart *donkey* (lol). I didn't hold it against him cos hey, he's a teenage boy, not a robot and most teenage boys act like idiots at times! :D

I've only been a fan of Jesse since October / November of 2004 and have met him 5xs (pics with him 4xs) His shows are entertaining (somewhat repetitive if u see him a lot) & he's always been a sweetheart everytime I met him :)

I also think it's weird to hear Jesse on the radio & yesterday when he was on the View and TRL I was like whoa Jesse's getting big (u can also tell he's getting big cos he doesnt do or took out his mall appearances cos there was too many fans that showed up)

Jesse has an awesome management team who u can tell is plugging him and getting his face out there + he's a double threat he's got the cd and the tv series...

I'm not sick of him. I'm really don't care about him. I watch couple of episods of Summerland and I was not impressed with his acting skills. Maybe he can sing , but I don't like that he use Aaron's image and not just image. His voice is simmilar to Aaron's but it don't have this special sound wich make Aaron be different from other singers. He also use even his gastures. He do the same gestures that Aaron did when he performed. It's really disturbing that someone want to be someones copy and even didn't want to do something on his own. Well, in honor of the truth, I think many artists have other artists or family to thank for where they are at now. So many who had a relative or a famous boyfriend or girlfriend or a contact in the business, who've made it thanks to some other group they were in...it's almost the rule. Jamie Lynn Spears, Greg Raposo, Justin, JC, Joey, Pollyanna, Sarah Martin (AJ's ex), Ashley Simpson....they are just names I'm remembering off the top of my head, I'm sure there are dozens more. SO I think the theory that Aaron is famous because of his brother, while being true, is getting old now. He's shown he's doing fine on his own. He has been touring alone for years, he hasn't been hanging onto Nick for his tours, or dragging Nick along to bring him publicity, has he??

And about him touring on the same Cd...well, almost...he's been touring on ALL the CDs he's done so far. The Jingle Jams require him to perform the songs that are popular with the pre-teens, so he performs them. I'm very optimistic about his new CD though, i am sure he'll blow everyone away, and make the ''I'm over Aaron now'' fans come sneaking back to listen to this new style and improved voice. And I'll also be glad when his CD is finally released, so we can finally talk about something other than his virginity (or lack of it) and his girlfriends.

i personally think jesse is really talented. he definitely has a good voice and i like his cd... i think he's worked hard to earn what he's getting. thats not to say that other people like aaron haven't worked just as hard. but even though aaron wasnt on tv and top radio he still used to fill stadiums and things like that so he still had a large fanbase at one point. there are alot of people who are working hard and aren't getting much further in their careers... i think chris trousdale is way talented, i fing love that kid he's such a good guy, and i think greg raposo works so hard... he's always touring and doing shows and writes his own songs, plays the guitar, and still they havent gotten anywhere really either. jesse just got lucky and i think he deserves it. aaron lost alot of fans but he's trying alot harder now and i think if he keeps working like he is, it'll eventually pay off...

I was a BIG fan of Dream Street back in 2001 & Jesse was one of my top guys until i met the group, then he became my least fav because of how he was. People say that he changed after DS though, they said he became nicer. So i decided to give him another chance & be a fan again, & i was becoming a big fan of his again until i met him again once he became solo & nothing had changed, he was still the same. I've seen him perform live & i can honestly say i was bored, especially comparing him to the performances i had just watched before & after him. I don't like Jesse's personality at all, Beautiful Soul is extremely annoying, especially since it's been out since 2003, his performance doesn't impress me, & comparing him to other artists i've met he's a jerk, to me (even though many of you disagree) he doesn't appreciate his fans the way he should, & i know i'm not the only one who thinks that cause i know plenty of Jesse fans who will agree with me. It also seems like to me from experience that he will only be nice to the fans which he finds attractive.

Aaron... i've also met him a couple of times & every single time he's been a total sweetheart with me. Everytime i meet him i become a bigger fan of his cause of how sweet he's been. His performance just blows me away, he has such energy & stage presence that it's amazing. He has an amazing voice also, all the people who say "blah blah he's a wannabee rapper.. blah blah" have you heard him sing? Like really sing... not something off of "Aaron's Party" or off of his first cd when he was 8, have you heard him sing "I'm All About You," or "Do You Remember," or "One Better," or even "Keep Believing?" Because he can sure sing & he proves it in those songs, especially live, he has an amazing voice.

Oh & it's stupid how people judge Aaron based on his family, everyone's family has some sort of problem, yes even your little precious Jesse. Believe me i've heard tons of things from very reliable sources about his family, just cause they're not all in the spotlight doesn't mean they don't have problems either. Ginger & Scot might not be as bad as Jane & Bob but they still have their own problems.

& about Jesse copying Aaron's style or whatever, sure most of they're music is different. Some people might think Jesse is Aaron at first glance cause of the hair, but who had that style of hair years before Jesse did?
