it's about my daughter. I need help on how to deal with something. i heard that my daughter has childhood diabetes. which means she cant get rid of it. And I need help raising money for her medications. i have a lot of money but that's through my father, but I can't have a cosigner. I need to figure out how to raise more money. thanks.

How about you contact a social worker at your local Health Department? They can give you information on how to obtain public assistance for your daughter. She might be able to obtain a Medicaid card that will help pay for her doctor visits and medications.

Also, does the father of the baby work or have insurance available through his job? A social worker can help you get information regarding that also.

Don't be scared - I have several friends who have kids with diabetes. They have to take extra-good care of their kids but they are doing just fine. There is the American Diabetes Association, which will also have information about it.

How did you find out she had diabetes? Was she hospitalized? You should really be in touch with her doctor about it, because she'll need to be monitored closely.

the father of my daughter....he he is never around. in other words she doesn't have a father. he was my bf until he found out that I was pregnant and he left and I never saw him again. and she just went in for a checkup and she showed signs of diabetes. they gaveher a test and she tested for diabetes.

Well, legally, you can have a blood test to establish that he IS the father. Even if he is not with you, he should be paying child support because that is his child.

Have you contacted any legal people in your area? I think if you go to the local health dept or the courthouse, you can get some legal help in doing this. You need to protect your daughter.

i hear you, my mom was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was 11. i don't know if this would help, but AJ Mclean from BSB has a charity for diabetes called JNN (which is his Johnny No Name thing) and they raise money for it, maybe you can get some info from there.....

well since you and ronnie lynn are just SO rich this shouldnt be a problem. you can go shopping on 5th ave and in melrose but can't pay for your baby's medication? why can't your dad just give you the money you put it in your account or whatever and then be done with it? then it would be YOUR money. or ask your new best friend ronnie lynn, haha. sorry but i agree with whoever said this is just a cry for more attention... if the story is true which personally i dont think it is well sorry to hear about your problems however... most people now wont believe you or ronnie lynn so...
