Only 12 Songs!!

Mariah had 19 songs on The Emancipation of Mimi, and she said in a recent interview that she had to cut 7, and the album will only have 12 songs!!! :cry:

I know that sucks.. i was hoping for at least 13 or 14. But looking on the bright side, she probably narrowed it down to the absolute best ones... If the others were all that good, she wouldn't have cut them I don't think. I'd rather have a shorter album with all great songs, than a longer one filled with songs I have to skip. Besides, some of her best albums only had 12 tracks (Daydream, Butterfly).

That isn't correct Mariah has 20 song's on the album. In a Vh1 interview she said she had 19-20 song's on the album.

No, she DID 19 or 20 songs (Ya thats in the VH1 interview) but if you check other interviews -- like the one on lamb radio -- she is making cuts out of those 19 songs...
