I havent been here in a while and havent really been paying much attention but i wanted to know somethin.

Werent Britney n Jessica Fighting for that role? (not literally)
So did Britney give it up cause of her marriage or did Jess beat her at it?

i kno im real late but i was jus curious-n it dont matter to me i like them both!

I don't know if Britney was ever really up for the role..

I know it was rumored she was, along with Reese Witherspoon..

Britney never tryed out for that role, it was just a rumor.

Exactly what Edward said. Britney never wanted the role. There was talk about how she didn't even know about the movie.

I would have MUCH rather see Reese playing Daisy Duke. Just any other real actress would have been better lol.

That's like wanting Halle Berry to be in a movie with Vin Dissel..

It's the freaking ''Dukes Of Hazzard'' no acting skills required.. All the boys did week after week was drive their '69 Orange Dodge Charger (General Lee) in car chases in Hazzard County which is somewhere in the south.. (I don't think they ever specified where).. And then Daisy stood around in her "Daisy Dukes" and looked pretty..

Real hard job.. They could have plucked any schmoes off the streets for these roles..

The Dukes Of Hazzard was a TV show that ran from 1979-1985..

It's just now being made into a movie..

You can actually watch Dukes Of Hazzard on Spike TV.. They are starting to show it again..
