There are a few fans who have gotten to attend Mariah listening parties, and one of the songs they heard was 'Mine Again.' Here is what one of those attendees had to say about the song:

Just to make people understand more on what the song sounds like, if you listen to "Anytime, any place" on Janet Jacksons "Janet" album then you have the exact same song, but different lyrics.

She has definately sampled the background music. It is the exact same tempo, but stronger vocals and a key change two thirds of the way through. If she hasn't cleared it for sample reasons then there could be litigation trouble but sure she has or Janet sampled it as well and it is in the public domain.

Thought this would help people to know what it sounds like as most of you are eager to hear what the songs sound like, so think of that song but with Mariah singing it and different lyrics, but musically its the same.

Yea I read that at FOMM...It would be pretty hot if this were true, but other reliable posters there said that wasn't the case. I guess we won't know for sure until we all hear it for ourselves.

Aren't all of us that impatient about the album? And I heard about the Janet jackson song to be sampled, but she said that Mine Again is a powerfull ballad, so I highly doubt it. Maybe she sampled that song for another track
