I'm a fan of Mariah and I love her work, but I guess that's a great spot for her. Why you think Mariah should be #2 or #1? The other people ahead of her has been in the business longer than she is.

She should not be behind Eryka Badhu or Toni Braxton and Ive never heard of no 6. And Mary J Blige does not deserve that credit - she has done nothing outside the US.

im sorry but Mariah deserves to be number 2 of at LEAST top 5, Arethra did alot and inspired RnB to multi-racial backgrounds especially in her era, ut Mariah is unerated in the sense of what she's done by making RnB mainstrem, she succeeded in doing that where many have failed Mary J Blige has hardly no hits, and i love Mary, rap might have not even been as influential as it is now, unless it was for her exposing a new pop audience to it.
