I think it was kinda mean that his own "fans" were booing him today (nothing against you guys, I'm sure it wasn't you) I felt bad for him.

I think so many people expect him closing out a game to be "automatic" that they treat him as if he's a robot...and when he fails, they blow it out of proportion.
It's all about playing in the pressure cooker that is New York.

he has blown his last 4 save attempts against the red sox that is definetly having his number.

Yesterday he just didn't have it. Was it nerves or the Sox or both or more I don't know. Jim Kaat before the game had an idea. He said Sox batters were too comfortable facing him and that Mo had to throw some chin music. Considering Yankee batters were hit at least five times during the series, I think Mo could let loose once or twice.
