Woow.

I hope Bruce will play Incident for Daniel tonight. For those of you who never had the pleasure to meet Daniel in the net (GL): He passed away last July in the age of 21. We used to chat via messenger. His favourite song was Incident and every show night during the Rising tour he changed his messenger nick name to the city Bruce played (like IncidentinHartford) because Daniel hoped Bruce would play Incident.

We wanted to meet at the Gothenburg shows exactly 2 years ago but somehow missed eachother both nights. So I never met him in person. Still missing the long nights when we listened to the same songs, counting the beginning down to be at the same point, had some fun...

This is a pic Daniel sent me shortly before he passed away

Cheers, my friend, tonights for you.

Great, great news. Thanks :) Andrew, I'm not surprised about that you had beers with Daniel - fits for both of you.

Mickey: You don't know where to find Gothenburg on a map? The city where all the magic in 2003 happened? Midsummernight, Nils birthday, 2 unbelievable great shows and the whole ESB stunned how Scandinavians can celebrate in a beautiful stadium. Shake it all baby, Twist and Shout, the stadium breaker in 85 (it's true, they had to tear down the old stadium after the Bruce show), came out both nights and we rocked all night long :) My best Bruce shows ever.

the relevant thread on GL dealing with the contact with shorefire and Bruce's people to make this happen can be found at...
