OT: boy trouble! HELP!!

so ive liked this guy for 2 years...3 in august..and yeah it seems pathetic, but i have my reasons. Anyways he finally asked me on a date and we went on it, monday. Well of course im gonna kiss the kid lol but to remind you he hasnt had a girlfriend in about a month. so i kept having these feelings that hes not asking me on the date for me but just to kiss me. And when we talked it would be different, we flirt and everything..then suddenly after the date...a day later or so, we were talking and it was so awkward. all of a sudden we were back to talking like we used too. no flirting, takes about 20 mins to come up with something new to talk about. its horrible because thats the one thing i DIDNT want to happen. i need help, i need to figure out if i should say something or not. i wanna know if he really just went on this date just to kiss. i was on his "list" for possible girls he would date..there were only 5 girls on the list and hes already dated 2 of them, i know he would give me a chance..hes just really confusing me lately. please help! i dont know what to say to him...gahhhh. guys suck!

Not to put you down or anything but that right there is a good reason why you don't kiss on the fist date. Don't give hime what he wants right away. And if he really likes you then he'll be patient and wait for you to let up a little bit. I hope things work out for you, Krista!

yeah not to be mean but I agree with ashley...you gotta make the guy wait because if he gets what he wants too easily or too quickly then there's nothing to stick around for....keep at it and eventually he'll come back around or things will turn less awkward. I speak from experience seeing that i FINALLY hung out with the boy that i have had a crush on for (gasp) 6 years...things are worth the wait if you stick with them!

yeah, i know i wasnt going too. but ive wanted to for so long :p Thanks for the advice guys! and ill deff try, he said he doesnt want a girlfriend for the rest of summer, which i understand but i dont want things to just stop between us. And i dont wanna wait 6 years...that must of sucked! And i thought 3 years was a long time. well thanks, and anymore advice is welcome..thankss all :)

he likes a new girl now haha i think im gonna try and move on. i met this other guy yesterday and hes really sweet and looking for someone...but my sister likes him and shes pissed that i like him, maybe i should just keep looking, i have the worst luck with guys! lol
