haha I agree. I mean I go like a few hours away to a show but not more than like 4...so I don't really think that's a big deal. But they just look like stalkers doing that, they should spend their money on other things, I think its pathetic, but I'm sure people think differently and have excuses as to why they do it!

Yeah the most I would travle to see a concert is like 2 hours(in a car). And I don't know if I would even fly to a show. I might if it was in Vegas cuz Vegas is my second home and we have a hosue there and we're there like 20 times a year so......

Yeah see like I think thats ok. Although I wont lie I did fly to NYC once for Aaron & Nick during the Twister Moves thing....but I would never do it again lol!! Like the people who fly every month to go to these places, that's insane.....do they have anything better to do than stalk? Of course Aaron will rememeber you, he sees you ever other damn week. I'd be sick of them!

I don't see the problem with it. If you have the resources (i.e. money, transportation, connections), what's wrong with seeing a show in another time zone? Having a choice between getting a job or staying on the road and catching all the concerts I can, I'd choose the latter in a second. Was it NSYNC that had an RV full of girls that followed them to all their concerts? They weren't viewed as stalkers, they were dedicated fans. They got face time on talk shows and free concert tix. If you ask me, that's a good life.

Its not pathetic for fans to travel to see thier fave artist perform. When the artist doesn't come to you..and you really wanna see them perform*like keanu reeves* then you have to take your self to them.Whats wrong with traveling like that..you get to see a show plus vaction.

This thread is really bothering me.People ain't freaking stalkers cause they travel.I know of people from oversea's that travel to ca to see Keanu perform..Its a freaking vaction. There is soo much I wanna say but I'm going to keep my mouth shut.Since I'm adult, pay my own bills..I'll go where ever I please if I've the money.I've traveled to see Joey McIntyre,Jordan Knight,Keanu Reeves,Jerry Reid and Aaron Carter.Plus Chris Trousdale. If things go right I'm planning on going to CA in oct..to see Chris perform 2 times, see ca,and visit Brit while I'm there.Yes if I'm able to go one of these days.I'll go to ca to see Aaron and Jerry...

I know for a fact.Jerry loves it when his friends/fans travel to see him.
Bye!

Obsession leads to stalking which leads to strangeness, among other things. A pathetic way of life; as if they care - it's their lifeline - or so they think. Like with the bottle, many a fool has fallen into this trap. They only kid themselves and, intentionally or not, harm others in the process.

Carolyn- If you're on vacation and they happen to be doing a show in the sam place then thats cool. I'm talking about when you plan a vacation around a show.

here's my theory on this.....I go to A LOT of shows....the furthest we've driven is like 6 hours but it's fun and we make a trip of it and whatnot. I would LOVE to fly somewhere to see like BSB perform cause they're my all time favs but I can't afford to go to a lot like that so it would only be one. I'll tell you right now...if I had the money and resources to go "on tour" I prolly would...it would be like a road trip across country..w/ a little entertainment on the way ;)

oh and another thing Ashley... why do you keep putting other people down for things they do? Like on another thread, someone said that they were going to buy Aaron a shirt and you just went on and on about how wrong you thought that was. ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. if people wanna do things, let them do it and don't give them your negative comments, its just annoying.

I always plan my vacation around a show.Doesn't mean your a stalker.

Wow. Just because someone travels to a show, doesn't make them a stalker. There are people like me who travel to shows because I like to TRAVEL. And that just gives me an extra reason. I have friends all over the country, who are also into the same music as I am. So if I can travel to someplace I love going, see my friends, and go to some shows, how the hell does that make someone a stalker?

There is a big difference in people who travel to shows to have a good time, and people who travel to "stalk him". Not everyone who travels a distance is automatically a stalker. Why don't you look up the meaning of the word. A stalker would be someone who sits outside their house or something like that.

Ok in some other threads I have been reading about how people travel all the way from one coast to another to see a concert. Maybe it's just me, but doesn't that seem a little extreme? Like who would travel cross-country to see a concert? Not me. I just can't put my mind around going all the way across the country for a concert. Maybe I'm not a big enough fan and this kind of stuff is normal. Ok so basically what I want to know is, do you think going all the way across the country to see Aaron perform is going to far? I think yes it is.

And to all the people that do it. Get a hobby or even maybe a job.

And ALSO. I have a job. A very GOOD job might I add. If people who travel don't have jobs, how do they have the money to travel?????? Yeah, exactly. If anyone needs to get a life, it's you.

I think its all based on Motive. For example, I wanted to go visit my friends from school this summer but we didnt know when. Then the bsb announced their tour sched. so we were like WOOO PERFECT! so I went that week. But i mean i wouldnt specifially go somewhere just to see a show. ya know? like I know some girls that go to EVERY SINGLE SHOW that aaron has. and i mean damn i wish i could do that but I have a job, I have bills and I have responsibilities. not saying that these girls dont but i mean, It must be nice. I could never get like 20 days off of work just to go to concerts. I work too hard for my money. I mean yea its nice to do something for yourself every once in a while (ie my vacay to fl) but i think going like all over the country to see a show that mostlikely youve seen before, is a bit extreme. Like i said... its all about motive.

i totally agree. i mean traveling a few hours isn't that big of a deal but people that travel from state to state to see him is a little extreme. if your already there on vacation i mean thats fine but people that travel to the other side of the country is to extreme. it's not like he doesn't come any closer to them! and it's most likely the same show.

why do you guys even care if people travel all over to see aaron? if they have the money, and want to, then fine, go travel and see aaron. just make sure to take tons of pictures for us! :) don't get all up on their case and start calling them stalkers. since you obviously don't know the definition of a stalker, here it is: 1. To pursue by tracking stealthily. 2. To follow or observe (a person) persistently, especially out of obsession or derangement. 3. To go through (an area) in pursuit of prey or quarry.

I don't think anyone here who has said they travel all over to watch aaron perform meet these requirements...

I am getting called a stalker for seeing BSB in KS.

What happened was when they anncouned the dates, CO wasn't on the list so we all was bummed so bunch of CO people deicded to make a trip to KS why not? only 9 hrs. Best part is I'll also be seeing my best friend Tina and other friend's while I'm out there.
Then 3 weeks ago or so, BSB added Denver, and I'm going to that one too and funny thing is it's a day apart LOL! So yeah I'm getting called a stalker over that, eh.

id never even have enough money to consider going to the other coast...so it doesnt even phase me but if you have enough money to just do that with and thats what you really want to do with your money, then its up to you cause its your money haha i think its pointless though, he will sooner or later come near you. you just need to learn something...called patience, i barely see aaron, lets say once a year

Aug 6th, 2005, 05:49 PM
See, Aaron, I have traveled a LITTLE bit for...but if I for SURE knew BSB wasn't coming near me...I'd probably go out of my way to see them. I just don't travel far, because ppl like AC and BSB always end up near me anyway, so I don't have to go far. Like Aaron comes here once a year...and me and my sis make a point to go every year....as like a tradition type thing. So we can look forward to that one time a year when he's here. But, hell, to each their own. If you have the time and $$$ to travel then go for it! :music:

I really don't like this post. Yes I travel to see aaron. Me and my friends enjoy road trips. Va is not even 15 mins and I always to go the va shows but I always do other things when I'm there like go to kings dominion ect. I saw aaron in orlando but I was there for spring break. Chicago was a birthday event. I wasn't there just for the concert. I don't travel to outrageous places just for the hell of it. I know a lot who do which yes to me is crazy. But if I didn't have the inside jokes I have with aaron that I do, I wouldn't go to as many shows as I do. If I didn't meet him everytime then I wouldn't go as much. I think you have been running your mouth on here wayy too much. And you have been making rude comments about everything lately. Just chill the heck out for a little. You have been annoying many ppl. They aren't doing it out of obsession.... they just like to go to concerts, what is wrong with that!? if they were obsessed, they would probably go get on the back of Aaron's tour bus and ride it for miles like one fan had done. If they were obsessed, they would come on here and complain each time if they didn't see Aaron. No one on here that travels to see him do these things. LEAVE THE FREAKIN PEOPLE ALONE. Are you freakin kidding me? I understand that if you are 12 years old you can't drive long distances so you pout by trying to call everyone else stalkers...One day when you are old enough to get your license you will understand the term "Road Trippin" AND I guess it also sucks if you have no friends either. I mean, who would want to travel alone that far, let alone go to a concert alone. It's called DEDICATION kiddies....Learn it, live it, and love it!!! I would follow backstreet on their whole damn *sorry i swore for all the kiddies in here* tour....BUT of course I have to work, to be able to afford these things...I don't know why I wasted my time typing this...When you grow up and learn how to read, look up the work dedication in the dictionary.....

i think its cool, i mean think about it this way, my friend and her mom flew to vegas from ny to see celine dion on her opening night in vegas and no one picked on them. i've never had the time to dedicate an entire day to a concert never mind a few days so i would never do it myself (plus nyc doesnt really have a shortage of concerts) but i mean its cool for those who want to. If i was famous i think itd be wayy flattering to know that someone crossed the country to come see me. That's like amazing! Another way of looking at it is people come from like alllll over to see broadway shows. when i was in the lobby waiting for wicked to begin i met a mom and her daughter from alaska that flew down to nyc specifically to see wicked. The only way i could see it being creepy would be if someone traveled to find aarons house, or even looked for it for that matter.

I wished I never mention about me going ACROSS country..like to ca and vegas...this is bull..to get called a stalker or what the hell ever else.Just cause I or someone else travels when they can..even if its only for a freaking concert. Not everything is going to knock on my door so therefore..If the shows doesn't come to u..go to them.Every heard of needing a break away from home cause ya can't take anymore. So they just wanna get out and go.I'm not explaining anymore, why I love to travel, and its my choice if I wanna travel long distance.I'm 27..an adult..and I drive. So if I can and I've the money.I'll drive where every I please. So people can call me a stalker or whatever else.As long as me,my family and god know the truth..thats all that matters.

LoL, stupid thread.
But let me throw in my 2 cents anyways....

There is absolutly nothing wrong with someone traveling to see their favorite artist.

End.of.story.
