The schools in my area start after labor day. I just graduated in June so I'm finished with high school. Thank god haha.

I start September 1st. It's really depressing knowing I only have a month of summer vaca left, but I guess it'll be good to get back. After school I'm going to get a part time job and take classes at Roger Williams College in criminal justice. I'll do that for two or so years, then get an appartment with my best friend in the whole world, brit. Then, once I'm done with college, I'm going to enroll in the Police Acadamy of Rhode Island. When I graduate from said acadamy I'll become a police officer for my home town :)

:laugh: I have no idea when I start (I should probably find out) but my parents are headed to the carribean a couple of weeks after classes begin.
I honestly have no career path plotted as far as school goes b/c I'm only going for the insurance. All I have to do is sit in a few classrooms every 3 days or so, correct a few professors and I get free trips to the dentists and doctors.
I thought about being a police officer but then it became a requirement to have an associate's degree just to enroll in the academy. I figure if I'm gonna go to school I might as well find something more profitable. I figured I could study law like I've always done since I was a child but this school's law courses are all "distant learning". Who wants to take a law class over the internet where you can't even have mock trials?
But my main focus is the arts. Mainly writing and music. But I'm enrolled in community college so later for those dreams. :cry:

who told you that??? You don't need any college to go to the acadamy, trust me, my uncle and cousin are both police officers and neither went to college. I'm only going to college so I'm not stuck just being a potrolling officer and so I can move up in the ranks, hopefully to detective someday :biggrin:

I move in on September 2nd, then have orientation and stufff. But classes don't start till the 7th, yay a day of classes then a day off, easy, cause my schedule rocks.
