Christina Aguilera on Britney Spears: She's Let Herself Go

Christina Aguilera is unimpressed with pop tart rival Britney Spears future sex symbol status and star power. The Dirrty singer, who was just hit with a lawsuit by songwriter Matt Morris last week, is unimpressed with how Britney is presenting herself during her pregnancy.

In fact, according to Contact Music, Aguilera hopes the star will be content with motherhood, because "she doubts she'll ever be a pop star again."

According to Christina, Brit's sexiness is gone. She says, "She's let herself go. I can't see a comeback on the cards."

That's probably a bit harsh as Brit is only 23 years old. She'll have plenty of time and plenty of personal trainers to whip that body back into shape after the baby is born. It's more likely that Brit can at least elevate herself to 'hot sex symbol status' at least "one more time."

But nothing stirs up a little publicity like a bit of name calling between Britney and Christina. Or perhaps Aguilera is just jealous that no one has popped off any pellet guns around her lately.

Everytime a TABLOID prints something about X saying something bad about someone, it's true. But if the tabloids were to print something saying that Britney said something like this, it's always "well it's from a tabloid so it's not true." I wonder why X never get's that?

^ 4 times. Wow. It's not even a credible source so put some ice down your pants and chill. Christina is not even being sued by Matt Morris so what else in this story is a lie? If she said this, it would be on every tv channel in the world, translated in 65 different languages, yet, it's only in one "news article". Where's the reporter's source? She spoke to Christina directly? She had to recant her Morris legal allegations after MTV admitted their mistake. I prefer to hear it from the horse's mouth, not from the farm hand scooping up the horse's crap. Think first, persecute second.

^^well i never read the whole pink and x beef like that - what i read and heard on the radio is that x worked with linda perry after pink had "discovered" her first, so to speak. and that x worked with linda w/o pink knowing and linda gave "beautiful" to x when pink wanted it. i also read an interview where x said that she didn't know why pink didn't like her anymore when they made out at some party. i don't know, that what i have read and heard on the radio from the beginning but no one knows the truth except those two.

It was reported that Pink was angry that Christina wanted to work with Linda Perry.. Because that was Pink's discovery.. She pulled Linda back into the spotlight and made a great album because of it..

And then people wanted to follow in Pinks footsteps because the album was so fantastical..

Linda really helped Christina get away from the over produced music that she was making before, and Linda wrote an amazing song that became Christina's biggest hit.

um, not to downgrade pink or anything b/c i like some of her songs...but linda perry herself said in an interview that pink asked for the song but linda said it was so personal to her that she refused and that "beautiful" might be her comeback song - but when x pushed to sing the song linda loved it and gave it to her.

also, if you guys remember an interview with bj she talked about how pink said something negative about bj and then a week or so later she sent bj a boquet of flowers and a note of apology and bj said that' s how pink is, she says negative things and then tries to patch things up later. every artist makes jabs at another artist, even if it's your fave artist - they're not angels.

Okay I'm new on the christina board and has never posted here so I know that ya'll might say what I have to say doesn't matter but hear me out...
IMO, when I see Britney doing interviews or whatever, she does seem like a real sweet person and seems to be very sociable BUT being able to say something on another artist is kinda like having bragging rights and she doesn't have them. What is she really gonna say?... that she doesn't approve of the way they dress... or she doesn't like the way they sing... or she doesn't like the way they act??
