Weekly Soundscan Numbers: 'Mimi' Still In Top 5!
"The Emancipation of Mimi" spends its 22nd consecutive week on the Billboard 200's top 5 albums. The album is at #5 this week, selling 81,231 copies (5% decrease from last week) for a total of 3,270,864.
On the Hot Digital Songs chart, "Shake It Off" slips a place to #12, selling 21,426 copies (21% decrease from last week). Its total downloads are 141,768. "We Belong Together" also slips a place, to #21, selling 13,690 downloads for a total of 554,518.
Kanye West holds the #1 spot on the downloads chart with 76,635 downloads - only a slight 6% decrease from last week. Despite Mariah's strong dominance on the airplay charts, it seems Kanye will have the #1 spot on the Hot 100 this week, and "Shake It Off" will settle at #2 for a third week in a row.
