It makes me laugh. Such as this story:
NEWARK, N.J. (AP) _ Three mice infected with the bacteria responsible for bubonic plague are missing from a laboratory in Newark.
Authorities say there's little risk to the public.
They've been looking for the mice for about two weeks. A federal official says it's possible the mice were stolen, eaten by other lab animals, or just misplaced in a paperwork error.
The state health commissioner says that if they got out of the lab, they would have died already from the disease.
The mice were at the Public Health Research Institute on the campus of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. The institute conducts bioterrorism research for the federal government.
The Star-Ledger of Newark says the F-B-I and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are investigating.
