No the Cubs aren't going to the World Series, but something even more unlikely occurred.

I heard George Bush say something like, and I am paraphrasing;

The devastation of this hurricane has highlighted the plight of those living in poverty in this country. Some of that poverty is rooted in the history of racial discrimination in this country. That is a problem we have a moral obligation to resolve.

They say the first step toward changing is to acknowledge the problem. Do you think he'll realize that his policies over the past 5 years have done nothing to address these problems, and in fact, have helped to make them worse?

Increasing numbers of people without health insurance each year since 2000.

Static income for working people in a supposedly expanding economy. So where is the money? I think you can answer that question.
