I noticed obviously - that you deleted my message which was simply a comment - to Shelly's opinion.
I think it's extremely funny that what you don't do is allow people to speak their mind unless they are brown nosing. Nothing I said in my post was rude or offensive - at least not anymore than Shelly's.
I can appreciate that you are here to protect people from having to read slanderous, inappropriate posts.....however when a FAN....chooses to speak about a comment that a celebrities mother made....that was a little harsh don't you think?
This is America - actually - this is worldwide....but where I come from when a person responds with an intelligent response....everyone is able to listen.

You can delete this one now to - I just wanted to let you know that I felt you have reacted more inappropriately and rudely than anyone who has ever said anything actually derogatory.

But now that I know how this system works - I'd rather not be a part of it.

I did. Read Nik's recent posts here about rules. Some questions are inappropriate and too personal to be asked on this board, and that's not why Shelly comes around. That type of thing doesn't belong here.

Hmmm..I must come to the defense of the moderators, even though I never read your original post. Sounds like just perhaps you weren't showing as much respect as you thought you might've been. I don't know what you said, but I've read some pretty rough things, both agreeing with me and not. They don't delete just anything, just because someone disagrees with me. I've been confronted several times before with differing opinions. It all lies in with what level of respect you voice your opinion, not whether or not it differs from mine. It usually is when it's overly offensive or unnecessarily disprespectful that they feel the need to delete. Believe it or not, there is a certain amount of basic respect due me simply because I'm a mother. I have raised my children to give due respect to parents simply because they earn it by being such. Also, because I don't have to be here...volunteering my time to help answer questions and to help people see beyond their sometimes shortsighted views when considering how they THINK the lives of celebrities should be run. Often folks only see one side...imagine what they would do...etc., all based on only half information. I'm here to provide the real life other half that most folks never consider. That's maybe what happened in your case. As for your thinking it's extremely funny...you don't sound amused. *lol* :)
