Mariah Attends JD's Birthday Bash in Las Vegas

The Venetian has gone Asian. For the opening of Tao Las Vegas at the hotel this weekend, owners Marc Packer and Rich Wolf have joined forces with Marquee to create Marquee Tao Las Vegas.

The space is "a multifaceted and multistory 'Asian city' housing a restaurant, banquet facilities, ultra- lounge and a nightclub in 40,000 square feet of Asian bliss" at the famed hotel.

The festivities kick off tonight as Jermaine Dupri celebrates his 33rd birthday at the new space. The party continues the rest of the weekend, with more than 2,000 guests being entertained by 25 singing monks as they enter the Asian temple. Mariah Carey, Nelly, Usher, Chelsea Clinton and others are expected to show.

Erik Bradley comments on "Don't Forget About Us"

Chicago's B96 APD/MD Erik Bradley replies to an email sent in by Curtis this morning and comments on Mariah's new track, "Don't Forget About Us."

Hey there. In case you didn't already know, you are the favorite DJ of all Mariah's fans. Your ongoing support of her career is so refreshing and we LOVE it, daaahhhling.

Anyway, someone told me today that they heard from YOU that Mariah's new song, "Don't Forget About Us," is incredible and that she really outdid herself. Of course, this is what we are all hoping for and want to believe. However, it'd be really easy for someone to just MAKE UP the fact that they spoke to you. So, here I am trying to clear things up for Mariah's fans online.

1. We all know you have the promo cd of DFAU and that you plan to premiere it early next week. Right?
2. Is the song an awesome ballad? What's it like? How are the vocals?

Anyway, if you can't answer these questions...it's cool. But your station might not get as many calls and emails these next few days if you can clear some things up! I'll report it all and spread the word (if you want me to). Just know that we all love ya!!!
Peace,
Curtis

Erik Bradley's reply:
Absolutely. Mariah never ceases to amaze me with her talent & unbelievable ability. She definitely outdid herself on "Don't Forget About Us". It's a killer love song, one that I might compare to a cross between "We Belong Together" and "Breakdown.". It's another Jermaine Dupri produced mega-smash...everyone will LOVE it! I believe it'll be on the radio sometime early next week!

Thanks go to YOU and all of her loyal fans for all that YOU guys do for her. Ya'll are a huge reason that she is back on top of the world, for always standing by her and supporting everything she does. Keep it up. She's a dear friend and one of the most incredible people I know (not to mention, the hardest working & most talented artist I've ever seen in my career.) I too will be down for her forever!

If ya have any other questions don't hesitate to let me know! ALSO, be sure to tell EVERYONE to download the "Shake It Off" remix on I-Tunes. We need this #1 to happen next week...and by downloading the single, it can happen if everyone does it...it's gonna be REAL close between MC & Kanye again, so we all need to do our part to take it over the top!

All the best,
Erik Bradley

Also, a reliable source tells us that there might be another new collaboration with Jermaine Dupri on the re-release of "The Emancipation of Mimi" and that if it was going to make the cut, Mariah would have to record it next week.
