Mariah Carey and producer Jermaine Dupri are at it again. Island Records will be dropping a new Mariah single, "Don't Forget About Us," to Pop radio on Wednesday (9/28). The single is not (as yet) available on her current album The Emancipation Of Mimi. Island executives characterize the single as a cross between "We Belong Together" and "Shake It Off," two huge number one singles, and lyrically comparable to the compelling "We Belong Together." "Don't Forget About Us" is available to listen to all day today via AOL First Listen (http://music.aol.com/franchise/firstlisten.adp).
Carey also recently released a remix of "Shake It Off," featuring Jay-Z and Young Jeezy, which is available exclusively at the iTunes Music Store (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playlistId=80187705&selectedItemId=80187707).
