Tell me this kid wasn't going to have enoguh problems just because his father's a loon to begin with, now he has to deal with this?
LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Who, other than Superman's parents, would name their son Kal-el? How about someone who might wish he were Superman, like Nicolas Cage? Kal-el was Superman's birth name on Krypton. Nicolas Cage's wife, Alice, gave birth to their superbaby yesterday in New York City. And yes, they named him Kal-el Coppola Cage. This is the first child for Cage and Alice Kim Cage together. They've been married since July of last year. Cage has another son by a previous relationship. Now, more about the Superman connection. About eight years ago Cage had been named as a possible Superman to follow Christopher Reeve. But, it never happened.
