I watched from a distance. your hands in your pocket, your eyes glistening in the warm sun. everytime you looked at me, I felt like I was suffocating. you smiled at me, and I was frozen. I couldn't do anything except watch you do what you do best. I tried to smile back but I was in a trance. I was stuck up in the moment.
I walked away not realizing, not knowing, just how much you meant to me.. just how much I'd miss you. your face stamped into my brain, like a tattoo.. it could never be erased. I walked down the street and danced in the rain.. because I was happy for once. happy to know that someone cared. I spun around and around again in circles until I got dizzy.. and then I fell down.. and you caught me.
breathless, once again, I sat helplessly looking up at you. there was no denying it- you were my weakness. and you still are. you grabbed my hand and pulled me up off the wet ground, smiling at me as always.. my cold hands in my pocket were shaking as I could feel you staring at me.
I tried to speak, but nothing came out. you looked deep into my eyes.. and I looked at you, trying to find the right words.. but I said nothing. my heart was exploding out of my chest.. I couldn't breathe. and you walked away not knowing everything I wanted to tell you.
^I don't think it makes any sense.. I mean it does but idk. I hate my writing.. lol
