I don't think anything's been announced yet. All of us fans of course want "The Hobbit" to be made into a movie, but it's nothing official yet.

Peter Jackson is doing The Lovely Bones and Halo before anything else, so if he does a Hobbit movie, it will be several years.

Well, Peter mentioned that he wanted to make a hobbit movie. Possibly with the same actors that were in LoTR, Ian Mc kellen etc. That would be rad :)
