Hilary Duff (tickets | music), who toured the U.S. extensively during 2005, will head north of the border early next year for a swing through Canada as she supports her recently released best-of album.
Duff's month-long run through the Great White North kicks off in early January, and works its way from East to West. Details are included below.
Before mounting her Canadian run, Duff--who just wrapped up a European tour--will head to Australia for a round of December shows. More information about that stretch of dates is posted at her website.
Duff's plans also include two high-profile television appearances on ABC; the first is a Nov. 22 performance at the American Music Awards, and the second is a co-hosting slot on the annual " Clark's New Year's Rocking Eve" broadcast, according to her website.
In August, Duff issued "Most Wanted," a compilation of seven previously released songs, three remixes and three original cuts. The disc sold about 100,000 copies during its first week in stores, enough to debut at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart.
"Wake Up," one of the new numbers included on "Most Wanted," appeared on MTV's TRL countdown 49 times, peaked at No. 1 and was retired by the program earlier this month, according to Duff's website.
Duff's most recent collection of all-new material is her self-titled sophomore set, which surfaced last year.
